To get 100 (or more!!) men of leadership from the community to sign on to supporting this collaboration by participating in the walk, and committing to raise $1,000 each before April 17, 2009, either individually, through sponsors or with a team of walkers.

 

Helping us reach this level of achievement will not only send a strong
message to the community that men are "Taking Steps" to END violence against women & children but will also raise much needed funds that enable these agencies to continue providing critically needed services to the victims of sexual and domestic violence, their families, friends and community through support, counseling, medical & legal advocacy, emergency shelter, education and after school programs.
